Nusantara CocoGlobal · Indonesia
Sustainability

The coconut was already sustainable.
We just refuse to waste it.

Our raw material is a by-product of Indonesia's coconut food industry — husks and shells that would otherwise be burned or landfilled. Every gram we ship is a gram redirected from waste to global industry.

Zero-waste utilisation

Every part of the husk and shell is converted — fiber, pith, chips, and shell charcoal. Nothing burned.

Closed-loop wash water

Our EC-buffering wash system recirculates water and returns clean effluent to the site's biofilter.

Solar-assisted drying

60% of our drying capacity is sun-based, reducing kiln fuel consumption year over year.

Renewable raw material

Coconut is a perennial crop. Harvest cycles renew every 45 days across our supplier network.

Carbon reduction target

40% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions per MT shipped by 2030 — measured, audited, published.

Farmer partnerships

Direct supply agreements with 1,200+ smallholder farmers. Fair pricing, prompt payment, technical support.

Sustainable coconut processing
Circular by design

A supply chain that gives more than it takes.

We source husks that would otherwise be waste, employ people in regions with few alternatives, and export a product that displaces peat mining and petroleum-based synthetics in downstream industries. Sustainability isn't a marketing layer for us — it's the structure of the business.
