PT Nusantara Coco Global was founded in 2008 in Cilacap, on Java's southern coast — one of Indonesia's most productive coconut regions. What began as a small fiber-decorticating operation supplying the domestic mattress industry has grown into an integrated manufacturer serving buyers across forty countries.
We invested early in laboratory testing, in-house compression lines, and long-term relationships with coconut farmers across Central and West Java. Today, our raw material comes from a network of over 1,200 smallholder farms — every one of them a partner rather than a transaction.
Our first European buyer signed a supply contract in 2013 for cocopeat blocks for greenhouse tomato production. That customer is still with us. So are most of the buyers who followed.
